A fixed camera points at the Santiaguito dome complex on the flank of Santa María volcano, near Quetzaltenango in western Guatemala. Santiaguito is one of Central America's most continuously active vents, regularly releasing ash plumes and gas from its growing lava dome. The round-the-clock stream captures these eruptions by day and any glow after dark, weather permitting.
