A camera from OrcaLab, a research station on Hanson Island off northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The lab was founded by Paul Spong to study the northern resident orcas that pass through Blackfish Sound and Johnstone Strait without capturing or disturbing them. Sightings come and go with the whales, so the feed pairs wide water views with hydrophone audio between passes.
