The V2cam is one of the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory's webcams, mounted on the northeast rim of Kīlauea's summit caldera on the Big Island of Hawaii. It looks across toward Halemaʻumaʻu crater, the site of recent eruptive activity, and was placed with permission from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The feed runs day and night, showing lava glow when the vent is active and darkness or cloud when it is not.
