This camera overlooks an osprey nest platform along the Clark Fork River near Hellgate Canyon in Missoula, Montana. It belongs to the Montana Osprey Project, a University of Montana research effort started in 2007 that tracks nesting pairs to gauge the health of local fish and rivers. Through spring and summer you can watch the birds fish, tend eggs, and raise chicks before their autumn migration.
